Vendor's Notes: A £10,000 store purchase, Largy Leader is out of a Saddlers’ Hall mare who won a point-to-point, and he matched that feat at the first time of asking at Kirkistown recently. Despite making a notable error in the first half of the contest, it did little to hinder the prospects of this son of Capri as he made good progress into a share of the lead approaching the home bend when moving alongside a more experienced rival. He quickly had the measure of that rival, and such was his superiority, he only had to be pushed out hands and heels on the run-in to register a debut success.
